The two teams that will confront the duo of Jogo and Mourinho in the semi finals of the maiden CY Unity Cup are expected to emerge this weekend.
The excitement levels, which reached feverish points last weekend, will move to another level when Oluwa Is Involved and Concord 2, two teams that have caught the attention of the fans locked horns on Saturday.
On Sunday, Soccer Stars and Source will battle for supremacy in the last quarter final. The two matches are billed to take place at the Ogundele Primary School playing ground.The first two quarter final matches were played last weekend with the duo of Jogo and Mourinho emerging from the fierce contests. Jogo claimed the scalps of Ultimate 4-3 on penalties after scores in normal play stood at 2-2.
However, Mourinho who had proven to be the outstanding team of the competition so far, lived up to their billing by mauling Alhaji 5-1. Sponsor of the competition, Ukpai Cyprian was forced to reiterate his resolve to make the competition a yearly affair, even when he was bombarded by hundreds of youths who were concerned by lack of such developmental competition in the area.
