Captain of Lagos State Table Tennis team in the 2012 National Sports Festival in Lagos, Ayo Omotara has assured their fans that they would win all the seven gold medals available in the event at the Games.
Omotara said that the 10-day tour of China they had few months ago had boosted their chances to redeem their image at the festival.
“We are sure of winning all the gold 7 medals at stake at the festival,” Omotara, son of ex-international, Titus, said.
“There is no doubt that our experiences at the Chinese National Training Centre in Hebei, China have improved our play compared to our form last year.
“I am now using this opportunity to assure the state government and our fans that we will redeem the image of the state at EKO 2012 after Ondo State won most medals in table tennis at the last festival in Port Harcour, Rivers State,” Omotara assured.
The festival will begin from 27 November to 9December, 2012.
