Athletes Rue Blackout At Unilag Hostel

The athletes at the hostels of the University of Lagos are not finding it easy with life, as epileptic supply of power to the hostel has made life unbearable for them in the ongoing 18th National Sports Festival, NSF.

Omorusi Onoriode, representing Team Edo in the taekwondo event told P.M.News that they find it hard to sleep at night because of power outage, saying that it was so bad that there was no alternative supply.

Aniete Ekpeyoung of Akwa Ibom State said it was sad that when they returned from their various events centres, they found difficult to rest.

Ekpeyoung, who competes in the Judo event called on the Local Organising Committee, LOC to come to their rescue by providing alternative power supply.
