Arsene Wenger’s underperforming Arsenal team will be travelling to Swansea for the third round of the FA cup the weekend of 7-8 January 2013.
It was one of the highlights of the draw made today at the Wembley Stadium in London.
Swansea have beaten Arsenal twice this year, the first on 15 January, which ended 3-2 and the second being the season’s English Premier League tie against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium. Swansea spanked Arsenal 2-0, triggering jeers and boos for Arsene Wenger and his rag-tag players, by thousands of fans.
Other highlights of the draw saw West Ham, conquerors of Chelsea tied to meet Manchester United.
Bottom of the table QPR will also meet West Brom, while Chelsea will travel to Southhampton same weekend.
