Hell was let loose on Sunday when irate football fans of Team Gombe descended on the coach of Kwara State and beat him up during a game at the football pitch of Yaba College of Technology in the ongoing 18th National Sports Festival.
Kwara State were leading with one goal when fans of Gombe went on the rampage descending on the officials of their opponents and fans their supporters.
Coach of Kwara, Moshood Adebayo was not lucky as he got the beating of his life.
Meanwhile the Main Organising Committee, MOC of the festival, has come hard on the Chairman of Gombe State Sports Commission for inciting fans against match officials. Secretary of the MOC, Abba Yola said the organisers won’t condone any act of indicpline during the game.
