Chief Coach of the team, Stephen Keshi, declared that the team are battle ready for their Group C opponents; Burkina Faso, Ethiopia and defending champions, Zambia.

“We have done the right things needed to raise a befitting squad for Nigeria, and we are leaving our camp in Faro for the venue of the AFCON on Wednesday. All of us are now looking forward to playing our first Nations Cup match”, Keshi said.

Keshi believes the Eagles have been taken through strategic training, which would stand them out when the Nations Cup gets underway.
