With 13 days to go before the Mandela Challenge involving the Super Eagles of Nigeria and the Bafana Bafana of South Africa, ex-international Chukwu Ndukwe has warned the country’s senior team to beware of their opponents.

The former Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa striker said the hosts would want to employ all antics to secure a win against the reigning African champions, hence the need for the Coach Stephen Keshi-led team not to underrate the South Africans.

Speaking on Brila FM Thursday morning, the former Enyimba of Aba striker charged the Eagles not to see the clash as mere friendly, but a competitive one because their prestige is at stake. “I don’t know if the South Africans are going to field a formidable squad, but the Eagles should go for victory for them to maintain their supremacy over the South Africans, who have only defeated Nigeria once,” he said.
