Two sisters — Ruth and Tinuola Olaniyi — were on Thursday charged before an Ogudu Magistrates’ Court, Lagos, for allegedly showing the nude film footage of two lovers.

Ruth, 19, and Ola, 24, who live at No. 46, Adebara St., Oworonshoki, Lagos, are being tried for indecent practice, unlawful video recording, fraud and breach of peace.

The prosecutor, Cpl. Uche Simon told the court that the accused committed the offences on 4 April at No. 37, Access Road, Oworonshoki at 4.00 p.m.

Simon alleged that the accused recorded the complainant (names withheld) while making love to her boyfriend.

“The accused also took nude pictures of the complainant with their phones and started sharing the pictures.

“They also conducted themselves in a manner likely to cause a breach of the peace by taking the nude pictures of the complainant to sell.”
