The governorship candidate of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA) in Ogun state, Prof David Bamgbose has given the present administration in the state a pass mark in the area of security.
Bamgbose commended the Ibikunle Amosun led administration for his bold step in making the state habitable for both indigenes and non-indigenes in the last three and half years.
Also, corroborating the APGA governorship candidate’s stance was the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) guber candidate, Gboyega Nasir Isiaka, GNI who in an unexpected manner concurred with Bamgbose as he extolled the virtues of Amosun in the area of security.
This occurred Sunday night at the June 12 Cultural Centre, Kuto, Abeokuta, venue of the Governorship Political Debate organised by the Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ogun State chapter.
According to Bamgbose, “I have been in this town for some years back now and I want to say, it is not the same. I don’t pray we witness what we experienced in this state about 8-10 years ago, the security of this state has improved and I have to give it to the incumbent.”
Similarly, Prince Gboyega Nasir Isiaka agreed that the state had witnessed relative peace in the last three and half years compared to what it used to be some years back.
“Just as the last Speaker said on the security, yes, we have been enjoying security in the state compared to the precious ones,” GNI as he fondly called said.
