Bishop Wale Oke, the General Overseer, Christ Life Church, Ibadan, has urged Governor Abiola Ajimobi of Oyo state to be more focused in the next four years.

Oke spoke at the prayer session held to mark his 66th birthday anniversary of the governor at the Government House mosque and chapel.

“The next three or four years are very critical to you and the state at large. It is very vital to your person and your existence,” Oke said.

Adding that, “You need to be determined at this critical time for the nation,” he said.

Oke also admonished the people of the state to show more understanding and support for the government, saying the time for politicking was over.

At the mosque session, Alhaji Bello Ahmed-Rufai, the Chief Imam, Government House Mosque, said that the governor was favoured for a second term by God because he was closer to Him.

Ahmed-Rufai, however, called on the governor to concentrate on evolving people-oriented policies and programmes.

“Whoever believes in God, appreciates God, cares for his society, makes people-oriented policies and programmes will surely attain greater heights through the grace and mercy of God,” he said.

NAN reports that the prayer session was attended by Christian and Islamic clerics as well as public office holders.
