Olamide Adedeji, famously called Olamide, has apologised for his Live TV rants at The Headies 2015 awards in Lagos early Saturday.

His unruly comments which pitched him against Mavin Records founder, Don Jazzy has ignited a storm on all social platforms since it broke.

The quarrel started after Reekado, Don Jazzy’s protege and artiste was announced the winner of the ‘Next Rated award’.

Olamide felt it should have gone to his YBLN label’s act, Lil’ Kesh. Olamide stormed out the venue cursing everyone and disrupting proceedings.

Don Jazzy who took the mic thereafter further added fuel to the raging fire with his cheeky comment: “Egbon Olamide, if you want the car come and collect it”.

Olamide since then followed it up with abusive tweets against Don Jazzy.

But now, with his apology, it appears ‘there is some calm after the storm.

“I want to apologise to my fans for my conduct, including swearing on Live TV, at The Headies event some hours ago. I recognise that you all are the most important part of my work and my journey so far, and I would not have come this far without you. Therefore, you deserve better from me. I promise to conduct myself in a more respectable manner in future.”
