The management of DStv may terminate the contract of Talem Security, the firm that provides guards for its offices.

This development, sources say, is in response to the alleged rape of a 17-year old girl by two guards of the company on secondment to DStv office.

The two guards were arraigned in court on Tuesday for sexual harassment and rape. Both were granted bail in the sum of N1m each.

Sources, however, reveal that one of the security guards was in a romantic relationship with the alleged victim. According to sources the alleged victim was captured by CCTV cameras while walking into the DStv office, an indication of the existence of some sort of relationship with at least one of the accused.

DStv management is said to be displeased that guards provided by Tom Salem could consider receiving a guest, especially a female, while on duty.

“The management of DStv considers this as a very unprofessional conduct and is seriously thinking of terminating the contract it has with Tom Salem,” explained a source.
