Buhari's son breaks limb in bike accident

Yusuf, son of Nigeria’s President Muhammadu Buhari has broken one of his limbs in a bike accident on Boxing Day in Abuja.

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr Garba Shehu, disclosed this in a statement on Wednesday.

According to the statement, Yusuf Buhari had a bike accident on Tuesday night around Gwarimpa in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The statement added that the young man broke a limb and had an injury to the head as a result.

“He has undergone surgery at a clinic in Abuja. He is in a stable condition,” the statement said.

The statement added that Buhari and his wife were thankful to Nigerians for the good wishes and prayers for their son.
