Ramadan: Yoruba Tennis Club charges Lagosians on religious tolerance

The Yoruba Tennis Club, Lagos, has charged residents of the state to embrace religious tolerance so that the state can remain peaceful.

Speaking at the Club’s 4th edition of the annual Ramadan Lecture, the Chairman of the Club, Prof. Adetokunboh Fabamwo urged Nigerians to follow the club’s brotherhood system, which embraced both Muslims and Christians.

He decried the rate at which some Muslim and Christian undergraduates in Nigerian universities behave towards one another, as they often sit apart from one another in discriminating form.

According to him, there should be religious tolerance which would allow other people to think or practice whichever religion practice they wanted.

in his lecture; “The Leadership Challenge,” Alhaji Muddaththir Sanuth  said the way people were in a society determined the kind of leaders they would get.

He advised all parents to take good care of their children right from home by teaching them moral values.
