Nigeria recorded eight COVID-19 related deaths on Thursday as it also recorded 631 new cases of the virus.
According to data supplied by the NCDC, the nation now has 2,488 COVID-19 death toll and 193,644 confirmed cases.
The discharged rose to 179,294, while active cases rose from 11,533 to 11,862.
