Cristiano Ronaldo has smashed another Premier League record even before kicking a ball for Manchester United.

Just a few days after he broke the world record for the most international goals by a male surpassing Iran’s Ali Daei record, Ronaldo’s famous Manchester United No. 7 jersey is now the fastest-selling shirt in Premier League history.

He surpassed the likes of Jack Grealish of Manchester City, Bruno Fernandes amongst others.

Fox reported that sales of the ‘Ronaldo 7’ shirt hit over £32.5m in the first 12 hours after they were released for sale.

A United jersey costs around £80 to £110 pounds which means that around 295,500 shirts to 406,250 shirts were sold in that period.

This also means out of the £32.5 million that have been garnered from the ‘Ronaldo 7’ shirts, Manchester United’s commission out of the £32.5 million will be £3.25 million which is 10% out of the amount, which means Manchester United has now recouped 1/4 of the £12.9 million fees the club paid Juventus to bring Ronaldo to Old Trafford.
