Tyson Fury has beaten Deontay Wilder in Las Vegas, with a devastating knockout, bringing the curtain on their trilogy fight.

The English Gypsy king has thus retained his WBC heavyweight title.

Fury knocked Wilder down in the third round.

The American responded in the fourth, sending the Briton to the canvas twice, thanks to his powerful right hand.

But ‘The Gypsy King’ rose to his feet to claim the victory, finishing his exhausted opponent in the 11th.

With the win, Fury (31-0-1) has now taken two of the three meetings between the rivals.

He will now hope to unify the division when he takes on either Oleksandr Uysk or Anthony Joshua in 2022.

The two rivals first match in December 2018 ended a draw.

But Fury dominated Wilder in their first rematch in February 2020 to win the title.

Wilder demanded the trilogy fight having parted company with former trainer Mark Breland.

But the change was in vain, with Fury dominating his rival in similar fashion to close the book on their three-year rivalry.
