Arsenal demolished Wolves 5-0 on premier league last day football to still retain their second position on the league table on Sunday.

Elsewhere, league champions Manchester City crumbled to 0-1 defeat at Brentford but that does not change anything as they have already won the league.

Granit Xhaka leapt to connect with a lovely cross and scored Arsenal’s opener on 11 minutes with a header that bounced off the ground and went inside the left post.

Three minutes later, Xhaka grabbed a brace as he doubled for Arsenal. He was in the right place at the right time to get to the rebound inside the box and gleefully rifled the ball low into the middle of the net.

Bukayo Saka made it 3-0 on 27 minutes. He received a delightful pass inside the box and smashed a precise shot inside the left post.
Gabriel Jesus made it 4-0 on 54 minutes. He scored from quite a difficult position as he leapt high to connect with a cross and powered his header low inside the right post.
The gunners made it 5-0 on 78 minutes.  Jakub Kiwior latched on to an inch-perfect cross into the box and drilled a low shot into the bottom right corner.

Meanwhile, Brentford scored an 85th minute goal to beat City 1-0 on last day football. Ethan Pinnock brilliantly darted into the box to latch on to a cross and buried the ball into the bottom left corner, leaving the goalkeeper stunned.
