Arsenal demolished Wolves 5-0 on premier league last day football to still retain their second position on the league table on Sunday.
Elsewhere, league champions Manchester City crumbled to 0-1 defeat at Brentford but that does not change anything as they have already won the league.
Granit Xhaka leapt to connect with a lovely cross and scored Arsenal’s opener on 11 minutes with a header that bounced off the ground and went inside the left post.
Three minutes later, Xhaka grabbed a brace as he doubled for Arsenal. He was in the right place at the right time to get to the rebound inside the box and gleefully rifled the ball low into the middle of the net.
Meanwhile, Brentford scored an 85th minute goal to beat City 1-0 on last day football. Ethan Pinnock brilliantly darted into the box to latch on to a cross and buried the ball into the bottom left corner, leaving the goalkeeper stunned.
