International Afrobeats sensation CKay is in the world’s eye again as his latest single titled ‘Hallelujah’ debuted on Nigeria Apple Music’s Top 100 Chart.
The song which featured his industry pal, Blaqbonez, has successfully pushed Asake’s ‘Amapiano’ down to number 2, as it takes the number 1 spot.
‘Hallelujah’ has not only made its way to Apple Music’s number one spot but also peaked at number seven on Nigeria Deezer, number ten on Nigeria Spotify, and number nineteen on Nigeria Shazam also.
This is CKay’s first time of topping Nigeria’s Apple Music Chart since he became an international artiste.
“HALLELUJAH NUMBER ONE SONG IN NIGERIA! my first one! i’m even happier to share this moment with my brothers @blaqbonez & @magicsticks_. Thank you for the love and support! Big announcement soon 🇳🇬💜✨,” CKay wrote on his Instagram page.

“Hallelujah,” which was produced by Magicsticks, is a victory lap that celebrates his rise as an artist from the fringes to become one of the biggest Afrobeats exports.
The single comes off the back of his appearance on ‘Trumpet’ with rapper Olamide, where he delivered a tailored chorus to match the rap maestro’s calm flows.
