Governor Ahmadu Fintiri has appointed Auwal D Tukur and Edgar Amos as his new Secretary to the State Government (SSG) and Chief of Staff (COS) respectively.
He announced the appointments in a statement released on Wednesday.
“Today, I am happy to announce the appointment of Auwal D Tukur as the new Secretary to the State Government of Adamawa!
“With his impeccable leadership skills and extensive experience, I am confident that he will excel in this role, bringing fresh ideas and a strong commitment to our great state.
“Additionally, I am delighted to introduce Edgar Amos as my new Chief of Staff. His exceptional organizational prowess and strategic thinking make him an invaluable asset to our administration. With Edgar’s guidance, I am certain we will overcome challenges and achieve remarkable progress.
“Following the appointment of Dr Amos who before now was the Head of Service, Shehu Isa Ardo takes over as Head of the Civil Service.
“Exciting times lie ahead as we work together towards the development and prosperity of Adamawa State. Join me in extending a warm welcome to our new appointees as we embark on this journey of transformation and progress. Together, we will make Adamawa the pride of our nation.
