Real Madrid CF and Luka Modrić have agreed to extend the player’s contract, which remains linked to the club until June 30, 2024.
Luka Modrić joined Real Madrid in 2012. In his eleven seasons defending Real Madrid shirt, he has played 488 matches and has won 23 titles: 5 Champions League, 5 Club World Cups, 4 European Super Cups, 3 Leagues, 2 Copas del Rey and 4 Spanish Super Cups.
During his career as a Real Madrid player, Modrić has won the highest individual awards, such as the 2018 Ballon d’Or, The Best FIFA Player Award 2018, the 2017/18 UEFA Player of the Year Award, the Club World Cup 2017, and this season he has been part of the FIFA/FIFPro World XI for the sixth time in his career.
In addition, he was the Golden Ball in the World Cup in Russia and the Bronze Ball in the World Cup in Qatar.
