FUOYE commences admission into its College of Medicine

Federal University of Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE), on Monday, commenced admission into its College of Medicine.

This was contained in a statement issued by the institution’s Head of Corporate Services Office, Mr Foluso Ogunmodede, on behalf of the Registrar, Mr Mufutau Ibrahim, in Oye-Ekiti on Monday.

The statement said that admission exercise or examinations into the college would commence with the 2023/2024 academic session for candidates who scored 240 and above in the 2023 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME).

“The Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) hereby informs all applicants who applied to FUOYE in the 2023 UTME and wish to undertake the recently approved MBBS programme in our College of Medicine, to visit the screening portal www.ecampus.fuoye.edu.ng/putme.

“This is to enable them to participate in the online screening, scheduled to commence on July 31 and end on Aug. 21.

“All candidates must possess a minimum of five ‘O’ level credits in English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics, obtained at not more than one sitting, if they are to be considered for their proposed course of study in Medicine and Surgery.

“Each candidate will be required to pay a screening fee of a sum of N2,000 and payment should be made strictly online on the university screening portal, using any bank debit card.

“Log on to http://ecampus.fuoye.edu.ng/putme and follow the procedure, as the portal display for verification, payment and uploading of ‘O’ Level results and print of the registration slip and for assistance, send a mail to [email protected],” the statement said.

It further stated that applicants for the screening were required to provide valid e-mail address and cell phone number in the registration form.

The statement advised applicants to complete the ‘O’ Level section with the five credits required to study Medicine as well as the number of sittings in which the credits were obtained.

It said that the applicants should then upload the O’ Level results, submit the application and then print out the screening report.

The statement warned that any applicant, who failed to adhere strictly to the instructions on the university’s website, would be disqualified.
