According to I Go Dye‘s account, the incident transpired over two decades ago following his participation in a comedy event. Upon arriving in Port Harcourt, I Go Dye realized that the most affordable lodging option available was priced at 5,000 Naira, leaving him with a mere 2,000 Naira in his possession. With limited options and facing the prospect of spending the night on the streets, he made the unconventional decision to seek refuge in a brothel where sex workers resided. Paying a nominal fee of 1,000 Naira for accommodation, he was required to wait until 2 am to access his sleeping quarters due to the ongoing activities in the establishment.

Through his Instagram post, I Go Dye aimed to inspire and encourage his followers to maintain their determination and optimism during challenging times. He conveyed the message that, despite current hardships, brighter days lie ahead, underscoring the importance of unwavering faith in pursuing one’s dreams.

In a light-hearted touch, I Go Dye humorously pointed out that even prominent religious figures like Chris Oyakhilome and Chris Okotie did not possess hair as distinctive as his during the same period.
