President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has approved the appointment of a new Board and Management team of the Niger Delta Development Commission (NDDC).

Mr, Chiedu Ebie from Delta state will be the new chairman, replacing Lauretta Onochie, who was appointed by President Muhammadu Buhari and reigned for less than six months.

Dr. Samuel Ogbuku from Bayelsa was returned as Managing Director and CEO.

Mr. Boma Iyaye from Rivers was appointed Executive Director (Finance and Admin), while Mr. Victor Antai from Akwa Ibom is the Executive Director (Projects).

Ifedayo Abegunde from Ondo is the Executive Director (Corporate Services).

According to presidential spokesman, Ajuri Ngelale, the President expects that the new Board and Management team will ensure a new era of successful administration in the NDDC, in line with his Renewed Hope agenda.

He said all the appointments took immediate effect.
