Doku stars in City's win

Jeremy Doku scored a goal and gave four assists as Manchester City demolished Bournemouth 6-1 at the Etihad Stadium to move top of the English Premier League table.

Doku opened the scoring for City midway into the first half. A great link-up play between Doku and Rodri gave the former a clear sight of goal on the edge of the box. He did not disappoint and beat the keeper on the right side of the goal.

On 33 minutes, a superb work from Jeremy Doku squared the ball to Bernardo Silva, who beat Ionut Radu with a brilliant shot into the bottom left corner to make it 2-0.

Four minutes later, it was 3-0 for City. Doku lined up a shot and his effort took a deflection off Manuel Akanji that wrong-footed Ionut Radu and sent the ball into the back of the net.

In the 64th minute, Doku produced a sweet pass and picked out Phil Foden inside the box. He quickly took a shot which went into the middle of the net and left the goalkeeper helpless for City’s fourth goal.

Bournemouth pulled one back to make it 4-1. Luis Sinisterra beautifully controlled a strongly hit pass from Maximillian Aarons inside the box. He cut inside his marker and rifled the ball low into the middle of the goal.

Seven minutes to duration, a quick turnover from Doku allowed Bernardo Silva to mount a one-man counterattack which ended with him scoring with a precise shot from close in that easily beat the keeper to make it 5-1.

Nathan Ake made it 6-1 two minutes to duration period. He buried a close-range header in the middle of the goal after a good run and cross by Oscar Bobb
