Popular Nigerian comedienne Helen Paul, reveals that she provided the voice for ‘Uncle, Please Tell Us a Story’ in Psquare’s song ‘Story’ back in 2005.
In a recent interview on The Honest Bunch Podcast, the 45-year-old Comedienne revealed this event.
At the time, Helen worked as a studio receptionist, and when the children who were supposed to do the voiceover didn’t show up, she stepped in.
“I didn’t know PSquare at the beginning. I didn’t even know they were going to blow. They came to the studio, and they wanted to record their songs.
” When the song started reigning, I didn’t even know what it was to put your name on a song; I didn’t fight for it.”
