The Kogi State governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dino Melaye, has said that he will not contest the electoral victory of the All Progressives Congress at the Nov 11 polls.

According to the former lawmaker, he has lost confidence in the judiciary, saying, “INEC and Judiciary are our major problems in Nigeria”.

The PDP governorship candidate, who came a distant third in the election, made accusations on Wednesday, November 29, alleging that the court is now an APC department rather than an autonomous institution.

“Judiciary is no longer the last hope of the ordinary people, it is now a department under the All Progressives Congress. Why should any responsible person go to the tribunal when the APC has captured the judiciary? I have lost complete confidence in the judiciary,”Dino Melaye said.
