Manchester City returned to winning ways on Sunday as they came from a goal down to beat Luton Town 2-1 to remain in fourth position.

Luton took the lead two minutes into the first half added time. Andros Townsend handed Elijah Adebayo the simplest of tasks from close range after the cross evaded the keeper, and he made no mistake with his header into the top left corner to make 1-0.
Midway into the second half, Ruben Dias picked up a pass inside the box and unleashed a shot at goalwards that crashed against the bar.
Bernardo Silva equalised for City two minutes later picking up the ball from a rebound and from the edge of the box unleashing a low shot into the bottom left corner.

In the 65th minute, Jack Grealish turned away in celebration as the ball hit the net, but his joy was short-lived as referee Tim Robinson ruled it out for a handball.

After VAR’s review, referee Tim Robinson signalled that the goal stood as City players celebrated.
Earlier, Phil Foden latched on to an accurate pass into the box and immediately unleashed a low shot goalwards. The keeper saved his effort.
Julian Alvarez also received a pass inside the box, controlled the ball and drilled it towards the left post. Unfortunately for him, Thomas Kaminski made a great save to stop his effort.
