De Bruyne scored for City

Kevin De Bruyne returned from five months injury to steer Manchester City to a 3-2 victory at Newcastle United on Saturday to move City second on the table.

City had opened the scoring mid-way in the first half. Kyle Walker swung a cross into the box and Bernardo Silva scored a magnificent back-heel goal.

Newcastle equalised nine minutes later. Bruno Guimaraes teed up Alexander Isak inside the box, and he kept his cool to find the top right corner.

Newcastle made it 2-1 in the 37th minute of the match. Anthony Gordon kept his cool and scored a brilliant goal.

In the 63rd minute, Walker sent a killer pass into the box, but Phil Foden could not trick the opposition’s defence and lost possession.
