The Lagos State Environmental Protection Agency ( LASEPA) has shut down nine hotels and a company over noise pollution and other environmental violations.
The government said the closure of the facilities was in line with its mandate to safe guard the environment from pollution and other violations.
LASEPA, in a statement on its X handle late Thursday, said this informed the decisive action it took by sealing several establishments, including hotels, lounge, mall and company.
The establishments sealed are Fabtol Hotel & Suites, Lustet Hotel, Emery Hotel, CF Hotel & Suites, Trending Place Hotel, Tomakan Nigeria Limited ,Witsspring Suites, Sikkyrolex Hotel, Million Dollar lmperial Hotel, Kidzmall and Lounge 14A.
“The closed facilities are all located in various parts of lsolo, and Gbagada in Lagos State.
“These measures were put in place to address the identified instances of Noise Pollution and Other Environmental Violations,” LASEPA said.
