Former Big Brother Naija housemate, singer and actress Bisola Aiyeola named host as game show ‘Family Feud’ returns for season 2.

Family Feud Nigeria kicked off on October 3, 2022, and is hosted by actress and reality TV star, Bisola Aiyeola.

The show which had a successful run in its first season premiered its second installment on February 3, 2024.

At a recent event, Tunji Adebakin, the COO of Ultima Studios, the show’s organisers, spoke about the “new developments to spice up season two”.

In season 1, only ten viewers won cash prizes daily from their weekly trivia game.

Adebakin, however, said the number has been upped to 30 in season 2. He added that a N1 million cash prize will go to the viewer with the highest points at the end of each quarter.

There would also be a celebrity edition, in which household names would compete to win cash prizes for any charity organization of their choice.

Adebakin also said that there would be a special edition of the show which would be for children.

“Family Feud works and it worked really well last season. I would say that what we are doing differently in season is that there is a game we want people to play from home while sitting down and watching the show,” he said.

“It is a trivia game too but what we did in season one was that only ten people won from Monday to Friday. We have increased that with the help of Momo, MTN and our other sponsors.

“We have upped it to 30 people, so we want to touch 30 Nigerians every day. 30 people will win five thousand naira every day from Monday to Friday.

“What we also did not do last season is that we have added a N1 million to the trivia. So at the end of every quarter, the fan with the highest number of points gets one million.

“Aside from the proposed kids edition, we do have planned charity editions, where celebrities play not for themselves but for a charity of their choice.”

The show will air on Fridays and Saturdays on Dstv and Gotv by 9 pm.

There would be repeat broadcasts on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Family Feud Nigeria, the television game show, is back for its second season. The franchise was created in 1976 by Mark Goodson and it features two families competing to name the most popular answers to survey questions to win cash prizes.

The show is currently being held in over 50 countries all over the world.
