“This Grammys no sweet” - Timaya decries Nigerian artistes' snub

Renowned singer Inetimi Alfred Timaya Odon, widely recognized as Timaya, has expressed dismay over the underwhelming performance of Nigerian artistes at the 66th Grammys.

It’s worth noting that Burna Boy, Ayra Starr, Davido, Asake, and Olamide, all representing Nigeria, faced disappointment at the 66th Grammys ceremony, with Tyla, the sole non-Nigerian nominee in the inaugural Best African Music Performance category, clinching the award.

Additionally, Davido and Burna Boy missed out on their nominations in the Best Global Music Album and Best Global Music Performance categories.

Sharing his disappointment, Timaya conveyed via his social media handle: “This Grammys no sweet oo!”
