Yul Edochie’s prediction regarding the outcome of the Super Eagles match against South Africa in the ongoing AFCON has sparked controversy among fans.
Taking to Instagram, Edochie expressed a feeling that South Africa might surprise Nigeria, urging the Super Eagles to be vigilant and bring home the trophy.
However, his statement garnered criticism from some fans who accused him of making a fake prophecy or trying to cover all possible outcomes.

Another fan posted; “Please don’t bring this your fake prophecy here.. Avoid super Eagles abeg…”
A fan questioned the authenticity of his prediction, suggesting that he was hedging his bets by predicting both a South African win and a Nigerian victory. He posted: “Very smart way to prophesy. So you can say you said it oo that South win but if Nigeria wins. Then you can say you prayed against defeat . This country and cruise”
