Operatives of Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC have arrested 36 suspected internet fraudsters in three locations in Kaduna State.
The operations were conducted by the EFCC operatives on Friday and Saturday, February 23 and 24 February 2024 at Sabo Kaduna and Narayi Highcoast and Layin Dogon Iche Samaru in the Zaria Local Government Area of Kaduna State,
EFCC spokesperson, Dele Oyewale said the suspects, comprising 35 males and 1 female were arrested following credible information on their suspected involvement in internet-related offences.
He listed items recovered from the suspects include 43 phones and five laptops
They will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
