Nigeria entertainment industries are mourning the loss of the multi-talented actor, comedian, and content creator, Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji, also known as Sisi Quadri.

Known for his versatility and remarkable contributions to Yoruba movie industry, Sisi Quadri’s passing has left a void in the hearts of many as he died on Friday, March 1st, after a protracted illness.

As an actor, he was well known for his role in the movie “Seniyan Seranko,” which was released on December 4, 2004.

Below are ten key things about him:

1. He was born Tolani Quadri Oyebamiji but popularly known as Sisi Quadri, in Yoruba movies.

2. He went to school in Ore, Ondo State, for both his primary and secondary education. He also went to Osun State Polytechnic, Iree.

3. Before he became an actor, Quadri was trained fashion designer.

4. His father also registered him in Arabic school because he wanted him to become a popular Muslim cleric.

5. He was introduced to lecturer and mentor, Toyin Olaiya (Alaga council) who brought him into acting.

6. He started acting in 2002 in a movie called ‘Koto Aye,’ directed by the late Alhaji Ajileye.

7. He was well known for his role in the movie “Seniyan Seranko,” which was released on December 4, 2004.

8. Sisi Quadri distinguished himself through a unique acting style, often portraying characters who were known for their sharp-tongued wit and mockery.

9. He was also an entertainer, Master of Ceremony (MC), and content creator who became popular after he began skit-making with a colleague Funmi Awelewa.

10. He was married and had four children – three sons and a daughter.
