Former U.S. President, Donald Trump has hailed the Supreme Court’s decision to keep him on the ballot in Colorado, describing it an important decision and very well-crafted.
The U.S. Apex Court had also ruled that only the congress had the power to get Trump’s name out of the ballot and not the States.
Trump, while reacting to the judgment at his Mar-a-Lago residence in Palm Beach, Florida, said it is an “important decision” that was “very well-crafted.”
The former president said the ruling would go a long way toward bringing the country together, which was what the country needed.
He said he believed the decision would be a unifying factor.
Praising the Supreme Court justices, Trump said they worked long, worked hard and frankly, worked very quickly on something that would be spoken about 100 years from now and 200 years from now.
He added that the ruling was extremely important.
“Essentially, you cannot take somebody out of a race because an opponent would like to have it that way,” he said.
