Box office queen and filmmaker, Funke Akindele has shared a cryptic post hours after being called out by late actress Adejumoke’s brother for ‘eye-service’.
Aderounmu Adejumoke passed away and Funke Akindele, who starred in a film with her, expressed condolences over the loss.
However, Adejumoke’s brother claimed that the actress never reached out to his sister during all the times she was sick despite calls to her.
His claim sparked a controversy online and many lambasted the actress for this.
Funke Akindele took to her Instagram page to share a quote speaking on wanting to start respecting energies and ceasing to chase people who don’t resonate with her.
PM News had earlier reported that shortly after Funke Akindele reacted to the late Adejumoke Aderounmu’s death on social media, her brother went online to call her out.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Adeola shared a screenshot of Funke Akindele reacting to his sister’s death and accompanied it with a caption where he accused her of only turning up for the camera.
He also advised people to avoid people like her. In a subsequent post, Adeola claimed that they had called Funke Akindele several times and she did not turn up for them even when they sent someone to her.
