Trossard's late strike gives Arsenal draw against Bayern

Leandro Trossard came from the bench to score as Arsenal forced Bayern Munich to a 2-2 draw at the Emirates Stadium.

Bukayo Saka had opened the scoring for Arsenal 12 minutes into the game. He perfectly collected a pass on the edge of the penalty area from Ben White, then produced a nice strike into the bottom left corner.

Bayern equalised six minutes later. Leon Goretzka teed up Serge Gnabry inside the box and he curled the ball into the left side of the net and past David Raya.

In the 22nd minute, Manuel Neuer had a great save. Jakub Kiwior jumped high to meet a cross and glanced a promising header from close range, but the goalkeeper pulled off a brilliant stop to keep it out.

In the 32nd minute, Harry Kane put Bayern head from the penalty spot. He ran up to the ball, stopped and waited for David Raya to commit before slotting the penalty into the bottom right corner.

In the 69th minute, Harry Kane controlled a fine pass into the box and fired the ball to the left post, but the effort was brilliantly blocked.

Arsenal equalised in the 76th minute. Gabriel Jesus laid the ball off to Leandro Trossard, who shot from close range into the bottom left corner, leaving the goalkeeper helpless.
