Podcaster and Afrobeats hype man, Adesope Olajide, also known as Shopsydoo, has spoken on the transformation of the Nigerian music industry transformation and the role played by Don Jazzy in the transformation.
During the discussion on radio, Shopsydoo shed light on the impact of the Mavin Record label chief on Nigeria’s music industry.
He also addressed Wizkid’s description of music producer as an influencer.
Shopsydoo stressed that Wizkid’s reference and description of Don Jazzy as an influencer was inappropriate and l disrespectful of the music producer.
Shopsydoo, who spoke in conversation with Fresh Off the Boat stressed that Don Jazzy is one of Africa’s foremost music influencers.
He stated that any artiste that gained recognition through Don Jazzy is positioned for significant achievements.
Shopsydoo further asserted that Don Jazzy’s tireless efforts over the past two decades played a crucial role in shaping Afrobeats into its current prominence.
