The attention of the WWE Smackdown superstars has shifted to the Money in the Bank Ladder Match happening next month following the conclusion of the dramatic clash in the Castle which saw all the champions retain their belts against all odds.
Here are four things to expect on Friday Night Smackdown this weekend.
CM Punk Returns!
The Allstate Arena has announced that the Chicago-born wrestler is scheduled to appear at tonight’s edition of the Friday Night Smackdown. CM Punk took his grudge with Drew McIntire to Scotland to cost the latter his title match against Damian Priest in front of his home crowd. Although McIntire announced on Monday that he was quitting WWE, fans are eagerly anticipating a match between them at SummerSlam.
Money in the Bank Qualifiers
The race to appear at the Money in the Bank Ladder Match will begin on Friday for superstars on Smackdown. Two matches scheduled for Friday are a triple-threat clash between Kevin Owens vs. Grayson Waller vs. Andrade as well as another triple-threat clash between Randy Orton vs. Carmelo Hayes vs. Tama Tonga. Winners of the match will star in the ladder match taking place on July 7.
Renewed feud between Cody Rhodes and the Bloodline
Undisputed champion, Cody Rhodes was attacked by The Bloodline at Clash at the Castle after he defeated AJ Styles. However, the duo of Kevin Owens and Randy Orton came to the champion’s rescue. Cody is never one to let things slide, you can be certain that he will address the attack tonight. Don’t miss it

LA Knight stormed Logan Paul’s home last week to force him to accept his challenge for the US States Championship. Following weeks of jabs on social media, Knight resolved to go physical by encroaching Paul’s home to force him to accept his challenge. How will Paul react to this?
