Ogun customs command rakes in N15bn in three months

The Ogun II Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service has announced a significant increase in revenue generation for the first quarter of 2025.

According to Comptroller Bisi Alade, the command generated N15,191,227,503.82, representing a 40% increase compared to N9,165,717,162.99 recorded in the same period last year.

The Command attributed its success to several strategic initiatives, including enhanced command monitoring unit operations, improved intelligence gathering, strengthening of  stakeholders’ engagement and corporate social responsibility.

Alade expressed gratitude to officers and men of the command for their hard work, dedication, and professionalism.

He also appreciated the support of the Comptroller General of Customs and sister agencies, reaffirming the command’s commitment to surpassing its performance in the coming months.
