Controversial Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has once again stirred social media after announcing his return to both Christian and traditional worship.
The filmmaker and self-acclaimed prophet made the declaration on his Instagram page, stating that his ministry is back in full swing.
Edochie, who has spent the last few months advocating for traditional spirituality, claimed that God instructed him to lead people back to their roots.
Declaring himself both a “prophet” and a “traditionalist,” he wrote, “My ministry is back. God has sent me to bring His people back to their traditional ways.”
One Instagram user, @MercySamson9, commented, “This is the result of when Queen May benches you.”
Another user, @chy.ndu, wrote, “The kind of juju they used to tie Yul Edochie, if care isn’t taken, he might end up running mad.”
Some expressed pity for the actor’s spiritual state. @missfavour_1 noted, “God is so merciful,” while @juwon_debbie remarked, “Immediately May left Yul, she took along his glory.”
