Shawn Faqua makes history with Nigeria’s first-ever train wedding

Nollywood actor Shawn Faqua and his bride, Sharon Ifunanya Maduekwe, has made history by hosting Nigeria’s first wedding on a moving train.

The ceremony which took place on Sunday, happened along the Lagos-Ibadan Standard Gauge Railway. The NRC also celebrated this historic moment, commending the couple for their creativity.

“From lovebirds to locomotives, we’re keeping things on track. History made the first-ever wedding on a moving train in Nigeria. Proof that the journey can be just as beautiful as the destination,” they wrote.

The memorable event was attended by family, friends and colleagues of the couple.
