Nigerian controversial pastor Tobi Adegboyega, has made bold controversial claims about the Christian religion and the intention of missionaries, pre-independence.
The pastor, while speaking in a viral video, explained his claim, stating that Christianity as a “social construct” imposed on Africans during colonial times.
Adegboyega stressed that colonial missionaries looked down on African traditions and conditioned Africans to believe that Christianity is the superior practice.
“The white man came to Africa and told us he was sending a bigger religion. When the white man came to Africa to introduce his religion and colonize us, he insert ‘slaves obey your masters,’ in his bible to trick us into submission. Christianity is a social construct; it tells us how to marry even though there’s no how to marry in the bible,” he stated.
