The announcement was made by WAEC’s Human Resource Management Department, which said it is looking for qualified candidates to fill different positions across its offices in Nigeria.

Available job areas

The jobs cut across several departments, including:

Administration

Finance

Information and Communication Technology (ICT)

Audit

Secretarial services

Job roles

WAEC is recruiting for nine positions, including:

Examinations Officers (general duties, accounts, and ICT)

Assistant Examinations Officers

Confidential Secretaries

Requirements

Applicants must:

Apply online through WAEC’s recruitment portal

Be 40 years old or below by the closing date

Have at least five credits in WASSCE/SSCE, including English and Mathematics

Be computer literate

For higher-level roles, candidates need a Bachelor’s degree or Higher National Diploma, along with NYSC discharge, exemption, or exclusion certificate.

For assistant roles, a National Diploma or NCE is required. Some positions, especially in ICT and accounting, may also require professional certifications.
