Public relations strategist Oladotun Olakanmi has shared the thinking behind The Kulture Digital, revealing how a focus on perception and credibility shaped the firm's approach to brand positioning.

The founder of The Kulture Digital, Oladotun Olakanmi, has explained the philosophy behind the public relations firm, saying its approach was developed from years of observing how perception influences business success.

According to Olakanmi, the idea for The Kulture Digital was not born out of a desire to offer another PR service but from a clear pattern he noticed across multiple industries.

Olakanmi said he frequently encountered talented individuals and businesses doing remarkable work without receiving the recognition they deserved. At the same time, he observed others attracting significant attention but struggling to earn credibility and trust.

The founder said these experiences led him to conclude that the real challenge was not visibility or effort, but perception.

“PR is not publicity. It is the deliberate act of shaping perception before attention comes,” Olakanmi said.

He explained that this realization became the foundation upon which The Kulture Digital was built.

According to Olakanmi, the firm operates on the belief that a brand’s long-term success depends more on how it is understood than on how often it appears in public view.

Drawing on his professional experience in the finance, fintech and insurance sectors, Olakanmi said he witnessed several cases where poor positioning limited the growth potential of otherwise valuable brands.

He noted that many organizations invest heavily in gaining visibility but fail to establish the credibility, authority and narrative clarity required to make that visibility effective.

Olakanmi said The Kulture Digital was created to address that gap by helping brands develop strong narratives, build digital credibility and strengthen public trust before pursuing wider exposure.

According to him, the firm’s public relations strategy focuses on long-term positioning rather than short-term publicity.

He explained that instead of chasing attention for its own sake, The Kulture Digital works to create the conditions that allow attention to translate into trust, influence and business growth.

Olakanmi further stated that the firm’s mission is to ensure that audiences do more than simply notice a brand.

“For Olakanmi, the goal is simple: ensure that when people encounter a brand, they don’t just see it; they understand and trust it.”

He added that by prioritizing perception and credibility, brands can build stronger relationships with their audiences and achieve more sustainable growth.

Through The Kulture Digital, Olakanmi said he aims to help businesses move beyond visibility and establish the trust and authority needed to stand out in an increasingly competitive marketplace.
