Under the new pricing structure, StarTimes has reduced the cost of its Direct-to-Home (DTH) and Digital Terrestrial Television (DTT) decoder packages across the country.

For DTT customers, the Decoder, Antenna and Accessories package now sells for ₦13,900, while the Decoder only package is available for ₦7,900.
According to the company, the promotional prices are available nationwide through StarTimes retail outlets, accredited dealers and authorised distribution partners.
Speaking on the initiative, Marketing Director of StarTimes Nigeria, Oke Umurhohwo, said the company is committed to ensuring that more Nigerians can participate in the excitement of the FIFA World Cup without financial barriers.

The company explained that the price reduction comes at a time when football fans across Nigeria are preparing to follow all 104 matches of the FIFA World Cup, from the opening fixture to the final.
StarTimes said subscribers will enjoy live coverage of the tournament alongside access to its extensive catalogue of local and international entertainment content.
Beyond football, the platform offers movies, television series, news channels, documentaries, children’s programming, music, lifestyle content and educational channels.
The company also disclosed that the decoder price slash is part of a broader World Cup engagement programme that will reward subscribers and enhance their viewing experience throughout the tournament.
According to StarTimes, the campaign includes a ₦50 million customer rewards programme, fan engagement activities, viewing events, promotional offers and other incentives designed to bring football fans closer to the action.
The company encouraged Nigerians planning to follow the FIFA World Cup to take advantage of the discounted decoder prices and enjoy affordable access to live sports and entertainment.
