East Hampton Police Detective Sgt. Jennifer Dunn said investigators have not established a motive, noting that the suspect appeared confused rather than threatening.

A 33-year-old Bronx man has been arrested after allegedly crashing his vehicle into the security gate of Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s luxury estate in East Hampton, New York, authorities said.

The suspect, identified as Keith Webster, faces charges of second-degree criminal mischief and third-degree criminal trespass following Wednesday’s incident at the couple’s sprawling $26 million mansion.

According to investigators, Webster allegedly drove his Subaru at high speed up the property’s driveway shortly after noon and failed to stop before ramming into the estate’s closed mechanical security gate, causing significant damage.

According to Daily News, a security guard on duty told police he observed the vehicle speeding toward the residence before the collision occurred.

Authorities said there is no immediate evidence that Webster deliberately targeted the celebrity couple, and it remains unclear whether Beyoncé or Jay-Z were at home when the incident happened.

East Hampton Police Detective Sgt. Jennifer Dunn said investigators have not established a motive, noting that the suspect appeared confused rather than threatening.

“He wasn’t making threats. He seemed confused,” Dunn said, adding that while the incident may be linked to a medical or mental health issue, police must initially investigate it as a criminal matter.

Police also revealed that Webster had reportedly approached another nearby residence before the crash but left peacefully after the homeowner declined to let him in.

Webster sustained minor injuries in the collision and was transported to Stony Brook Southampton Hospital for treatment before being released back into police custody.

During his court appearance on Thursday, officials said Webster appeared disoriented. He was subsequently transferred to a mental health facility for psychiatric evaluation.
