Beyonce’s dad reveals fate of Destiny’s Child after reunion buzz

Beyoncé’s father, Mathew Knowles, has confirmed that Destiny’s Child is preparing new music for its 30th anniversary, five months after a reunion photograph sparked comeback speculation.

Knowles told TMZ on Thursday that Beyoncé, Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams have recorded between 10 and 15 remixes, including urban and dance versions.

Although it remains unclear whether the songs will form a new album, he said all three members were involved in the group’s latest project.

Knowles also disclosed that previously unseen videos and unheard recordings were being prepared for release.

However, he ruled out an imminent reunion tour, saying there were currently no plans for the trio to embark on a series of performances.

Speculation about a Destiny’s Child comeback intensified in February after Knowles shared an Instagram photograph of himself with Beyoncé, Rowland and Williams aboard a luxury boat.

He captioned the photograph, “With the ladies,” prompting excited fans to ask whether the hugely successful girl group was returning.

Destiny’s Child last released an album, *Destiny Fulfilled*, in November 2004 before announcing its disbandment during a world tour in 2005. The members subsequently pursued solo careers.

The trio have remained close and reunited onstage during the final night of Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter Tour in July 2025.

Before that appearance, they had not performed live together since Beyoncé’s headline set at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in 2018.

Knowles managed Destiny’s Child following the group’s formation in Houston, Texas, in the 1990s.
