Music executive Tunji Balogun, popularly known as Teebillz, has sparked a parenting debate on social media after sharing a proud fatherhood moment with his son, Jamil.
Taking to Instagram, Teebillz recounted how Tiwa Savage, Jamil’s mother, had bought him a bicycle but was unable to teach him how to ride.
However, in less than 30 minutes of his presence, he helped Jamil overcome his fear and gain the confidence to ride on his own.
“Parenting takes two,” Teebillz wrote, emphasising the importance of fatherly involvement in a child’s upbringing.
He also fired back at critics, calling out those who, in his words, had “no clue of family dynamics.”
“If I’m not a good father I will not have the liberty and support of the mother…….. As e Dey sweet us e Dey pain you evil minded ppl Abi……,” he said.
His post quickly gained traction, with actress Laide Bakare among the 33,963 people who liked it.
Supporters flooded the comment section, applauding the significance of a father’s role in raising children.
One user stated, “Women should allow men to train their sons, very very important!”
